Mals in Shelters

Most animal shelters in Southern California are "kill" shelters, meaning dogs are available for adoption for a few days before they are put to death.  It's not cruelty that motivates shelters--it is space.  There are so many kennels for strays and too many dogs needing those spaces.  We ask that you please check out the malamutes in shelters and give them priority over purchasing a malamute or even taking one of our rescues.  Please also view this video about just one shelter; I believe there are over 2,000 in the U.S.!

      TAHOE IS IN REAL TROUBLE

Her name is Tahoe and she is being passed over because she is a mere 7 years young.  Alaskan Malamutes have a long life span of sometimes 12 to 14 years therefore she has a lot of years left to give to a loving owner.  Although she is a wonderful dog, she still really needs help.  If she can not find a loving person to adopt her, she will be euthanized very soon!!  Can you help to save her life??  Tahoe is a spayed, female, Alaskan Malamute that has had a tough time.  She knows she is not in a safe place and is very scared indeed.  No older dog deserves to end their life, alone in an animal shelter.

Tahoe's ID Number is:  A1288068
Necktag number:  S210
And she is in kennel number:  S073
